Eligibility Requirements

PowHer Pitch: Women in Motion is designed to spotlight early-stage women-led businesses and startups transforming the future of health, mobility, movement, and wellbeing.

Eligible applicants must:

• Be a woman-identifying founder, co-founder, or executive leader
• Operate a for-profit business, startup, or scalable health innovation concept
• Have annual revenue under $500,000
• Be in the idea, pilot, prototype, or early-growth stage
• Demonstrate alignment with movement, mobility, musculoskeletal health, prevention, wellness, women's health, digital health, or related health innovation sectors
• Be available to present live at the 2026 Movement is Life Health Summit in Detroit if selected as a finalist

Examples of eligible concepts may include:

• Digital health solutions
• Wellness technologies
• Mobility-focused innovations
• Women's health startups
• AI or tech-enabled health platforms
• Fitness and prevention solutions
• Musculoskeletal health innovations
• Recovery or rehabilitation products
• Community-informed health products with scalable business models

The following are NOT eligible:

• Traditional nonprofit programs
• Community service-only initiatives
• Organizations with annual revenue exceeding $500,000
• Concepts unrelated to health, movement, mobility, or wellbeing

Required Submission Materials

1. Online Application Form. Complete all required application questions.
2. Vision & Impact Overview. Upload either a 2-3 page written overview/business plan or an 8-10 slide pitch deck.
3. Bio and Headshot.

Optional Supporting Materials

Optional but encouraged: pitch video, product demo, prototype images, customer testimonials, website or social media links, media coverage, and research or supporting data.

Applications will be reviewed based on innovation and originality; alignment with movement, mobility, and women's health; clarity of vision; business viability and growth potential; community relevance and impact; presentation quality; and readiness to pitch live.

Finalist Expectations

• Participate in a finalist preparation call - TBD
• Present live during the 2026 Movement is Life Health Summit
• Receive visibility through Movement is Life media and promotional platforms
• Be eligible for funding, mentorship, partnership, and promotional opportunities
• Participate as a guest on The Health Disparities Podcast
